GENERAL TERMS FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA IN THE RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION PROCESS
APPLICABLE TO JOB APPLICANTS
Personal data we collect:
What is “personal data”?
“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified natural person or an identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or by one or more characteristics specific to the physical, the physiological, genetic, psychic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.
Special categories of personal data are personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political views, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data for the sole purpose of identifying an individual, health data or sex life data, or the sexual orientation of the natural person.
“Health data” means personal data related to the physical or mental health of an individual, including the provision of health services that provide information about their health.
Personal data that you provide to us in the recruitment and selection process:
Data that identifies you: names, nationality, photo (if you have included in the CV at your discretion), positions, titles.
- Contact details: home address, personal phone, personal e-mail.
- Financial information: salary at previous employers – of your choice
- Professional data: previous work experience, education, qualifications, professional skills, language skills, computer skills, communication skills, interests, test results for applying for the advertised position, and the like.
- Other personal data that you have included in the applications and documents for the application.
What do we use your personal data for?
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To collect a suitable set of candidates from which to select the most suitable candidates to participate in the stages of the selection process.
- To assess whether your qualifications, skills, and experience meet the requirements, specified for the specific advertised position for which you are applying.
We process your personal data only and solely for the purposes of the process of recruitment and selection of candidates for the announced vacant position for which you are applying so that Nasekomo AD’s legitimate interest in selecting the most suitable candidate for employment can be satisfied.
For what period of time we process your personal data:
- We store your personal data during the recruitment and selection process of candidates for the relevant position you are applying for.
- Your data will be destroyed within 6 months from the moment we decide that your application will not continue to the next stage of the recruitment and selection process for the relevant position for which you have applied.
- In the event that we wish to retain your data for participation in future candidate selection processes, we will request your explicit written consent.
To whom we provide your personal data:
We do not provide your personal data to people outside Nasekomo AD.
- We do not store personal data on servers outside the EU and we do not provide your personal data outside the EU.
- We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making (in this number profiling).
Your rights related to your personal data:
Your rights are regulated in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 and in the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and can be summarized as follows:
- The right to be informed, which includes in general:
- You have the right to receive information for what purposes your personal data is collected and processed, what categories of personal data we collect and process, and on what basis we process your personal data.
- You have the right to receive information for what period of time your personal data is processed.
- You have the right to receive information to whom your personal data is provided.
- You have the right to be informed about the existence of automated decision-making (including profiling).
- The right of access, which includes in general:
- You have the right to receive confirmation of what personal data is being processed, as well as a copy of that personal data.
- You have the right to receive additional information about the source of your personal data
- The right to rectification, which generally includes:
- You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is incorrect.
- You have the right to have your personal data supplemented if it is incomplete.
In addition to these rights, in certain cases you may also have the right to request that your data be deleted, the right to restrict processing, to receive your data in a certain format, etc. You may exercise the above rights by sending an email to eva.hadjieva@nasekomo.life by submitting a written request to your “Administration”, which registers your request in the register of incoming correspondence, or verbally by notifying the “Administration” department. We will provide you with the information free of charge within one month of receiving the request. If necessary, this period can be extended by another two months, taking into account the complexity and number of applicants’ requests.
If you believe that we are not complying with the legislation related to personal data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Commission for the Protection of Personal Data.
